We would love to share some of the quotes from the report:
- Managers and practitioners demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all children. Children make good progress and become eager learners.
- Practitioners are kind and caring, and their relationships with children are positive. As a result, children feel secure and play happily.
- Practitioners rigorously follow procedures that help to keep children safe.
- Managers continually seek to learn and improve, and this makes them good role models for the team.
Following on from this wonderful news we were also delighted to hear that we had been awarded Millies Mark. This is an award for best practice in first aid and shows that our staff are well equipped to handle any emergency that may arise in our setting.
Millie’s Mark is awarded as a special endorsement to childcare providers that go above and beyond the minimum requirements by having 100% of staff trained in paediatric first aid. We have also demonstrated that everything learned during the course is being kept alive and in the forefront of our practitioners’ minds so that we are confident, ready and capable.
Additionally, at start of November we had our food hygiene inspection and were thrilled to retain the top rating of 5.
This hat-trick of awards is a huge achievement and is well deserved by the whole team who work extremely hard to maintain exceptionally high standards in all that we do.
